When a call comes in, RingCentral manages it according to your preferences, which you set up through your . Calls can be automatically forwarded to one or multiple numbers such as your business, cell phone, home, and any domestic or international number. When customers dial your main number, they hear a customized recording or default greeting that prompts them to dial an extension and, if you choose, to announce their name.
Once they dial an extension, they are placed on hold and transferred to an employee, home phone, cell phone or anywhere you want. You can even transfer a call in progress between a landline phone and a cell phone.
