Software PBX

This type of PBX consists of software running on a PC or other computer. This type of PBX is very similar to a hardware PBX. Some vendors have called this a "Hosted PBX" because the PBX intelligence is "hosted" on a computer, rather than hard coded into the hardware. It is not, however, a true hosted PBX service, it's just another way to do a premise-based PBX.
PBX software is a system build only for windows operating systems it works on windows xp and vista. Pbx software is written in batch file which is quite surprising but has released some advanced programs in batch such as general user interface and even there own os to interact with Pbx server edition.
